Ooh, story. I was babysitting, year before last when it happened I had a regular gig on Tuesdays, which meant that I missed House and NCIS and SVU and had to rely on family to tape it, which didn't always happen, which made me sad. Anyway. The girls were like 5 and twins and they happened to be asleep that evening because they ran around a lot that day or whatever, and so I got to watch most of it. So I'm watching, and I'm watching, and they're all on the roof, and one of them wakes up, who wakes the other one up. Curses. So I pause it (they've got Tivo, wonder of wonders) and had them go into the kitchen to get food. I hit play while they're picking something from the fridge. Kate gets shot in the chest. I'm all *gasp*! And they run back in all "What is it, Alexandria?" And they say my whole name and it's the cutest thing, and I'm like "Nothing!" And they run back and I hit play again and I see her get up, and I'm all "YAY! Maybe nobody is going to die!" And hit pause again, as they picked, and I set them up in the dining room with their food. I go back. Turn it on. *boomsplatsquishblood*. Curses. My hopes got gotten all up and everything, and then no. She's dead. /endstory
(well, Ziva's first season. I don't know how far behind you guys we are)
Yeah, Ziva's season two (real season 4) started just a few weeks ago. Reminds me, I didn't see that last episode when I was at my mini medical school thing. Must get that.
I was automatically biased against Ziva at first, but I've begun to like her. I love how Pauley Perrette (Abby) acted her part really well in the episodes after Kate's death. For two or three episodes after, Abby was still all mopey and sad. And she totally clashed with Ziva because Ziva was Kate's replacement. Hated her. They get on a lot better now. (And though I'm a Kate/Abby Ziva/Jenny girl, there was a sure lot of Abby/Ziva UST stuff going on. Mostly because Cote DePablo just exudes sex from every pore on her body. She has sexual chemistry with everybody on the show.) But Ziva becomes more likeable if you're not thinking of her as a replacement for Kate but as a girl for Director Shepard.

You know, I haven't seen that. I really would like to, but when I tried to get it from the library, they were like "Yeah, no. You're with the youngage."
totally thought that said "last year I had a dream that I had to do my Spanish teacher".
Ahh! Oh, dear. That's horrible. There are a couple of teachers (read: one) about whom I wouldn't mind that dream. (She was our student teacher last year, so she's like 22 or 23, and now took a position replacing one of the english teachers that had a baby. I'm not particularly crushing on her or anything, but I can appreciate that she's pretty hot.) But last year's spanish teacher. Urgh.
