This is still making me laugh from yesterday morning. We were playing that "Name all 50 states in 10 minutes" game, except it was the same game for like an hour, trying to hint my way to thenaughtydingo figuring them out.

INORITE. Here, like, you have to be wealthy to have a beach house! Reasonably wealthy. And Amie could be, for all I know, but the way Sam's mum was talking about them over dinner one night, it sounds as if it's really common to have one. Odd.

That's odd. Space is at a premium here in these United States, so I know that you can get like a timeshare or something, where a bunch of people all take the beach house for one week a year or something (though I don't know the cost) but even that isn't common amongst the lower-middle and middle-middle classes.
