Oh, and yesterday night, when the Inside the Actors' Studio thing was on, I went to the gym. I do not think I have ever been on the treadmill for that long in my life. I always wimp out after about 30 minutes, but I was definitely on there for almost an hour. Crazy what motivation will do.

I was surprised at the content, however. It was very personal, unlike most talkshow interviews and stuff where they just talk about the other actors and whatever else they're doing acting-wise at the time.

And the interviewer guy talked too slowly. I was like "if you'll just speed it up, he could have gotten 6 more questions answered!"


I admire everyone that writes smut. Whenever I get to the point in a fic where the characters obviously need to start in with the sexing pretty soon, I just freeze up. I've got two, three fics that I'm (not) working on right now because I just really don't know what to do.

And I'm a crap mod. We all knew this, as I don't do anything but cheer people on, thank them for posting on the group, and scour the other femslash/House fandom lists for fic and tell people to post it over at cameroncuddy.
Somebody else brought up challenges, and I'm really excited that there's at least a little interest in it, as I felt sort of weird bringing it up myself when I wasn't sure if anyone would care, and I figure it could really get some activity going on the group. But now I'm not sure what to do in regards to this other person. I've got no experience running challenges really, though I know how it's done and all. She brought the idea up, and I don't know if I should leave it to her, as I'm rather an absentee-mod, or try to jump in and organize it all.

Even on the internet I'm horridly insecure about what I'm doing. Should I jump in, would it be too weird, is anybody going to even care? I feel like I'm not good enough of a leader to get anything done.

Half the time I end up with a fade-to-black because I can't write the sex, or don't want to write the sex ;)

Yeah, ditto. I'll get in some suggestiveness, maybe some touching or whatever, and then either just stop or go really vague.
